Being a member of SDU Vikingsdoesn't mean we expect you to know all the answers - that's not how we got from Viking I to Viking XII. The journey was full of trials, guesses and errors, but we never stopped our goal of building the best race car each year.
Our team kept going back and forth on untested ideas and used what they learned onwards - even passing it down to new members. And that's all we expect of you - that you will continue our tradition of pursuing the next big goal.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of SDU Vikings is to create a team of skilled and dedicatedstudents who can test their theoretical knowledge in a practical context. Since the project encompasses the entire production cycle from idea to realization, it will benefitthe students in the future, regardless ofthepath they choose. In this way, the project is about more than just building the fastestcar. We also aim to educate the best students who can tackle future challenges and create innovative solutions.
OUR LOCATIONS
SDU Vikings is based in both Odense and Sønderborg. We do a lot of cross-campus work, and the Sønderborg Vikings often drive up to our workshop in Odense to implement and test the projects they have been working on. We also host social events at Christmas, Easter, and other occasions.
